About us

Emily graduated from Halesowen in 2013 with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and is a registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She went on to earn her qualification as a Veterinary Physiotherapist from the College of Animal Physiotherapy in 2017, specializing in Canine Sports Massage in 2018, and becoming a certified Small Animal Hydrotherapist in 2021. Emily is listed on the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP) and is a member of the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP). ​ Her diverse experience spans various types of practices, from small independent clinics to large charity hospitals, where she played a key role in managing a team of 14 nurses. Since 2017, she has focused on rehabilitation, establishing her own independent business and working at a rehabilitation facility treating a wide range of patients, including military working dogs and agility dogs representing Team GB. ​ Emily joined Companion Animal Health in 2017, contributing globally in product support, product management, and clinical support roles specialising in Laser therapy, Stance analysis and Regenerative therapies. After a brief tenure as Clinical Manager for Pioneer Veterinary Products, where she specialized in laser therapy and thermal imaging, she returned to Companion Animal Health as the International Training and Education Manager once again focusing around Laser therapy across the International Markets. ​ In addition to her clinical work, Emily has lectured at numerous universities and CPD programs, authored content for a recently published book, and maintains an online presence as ‘The Vet Laser Specialist’. Her recent achievement is to be the first person to write an Ofqual recognised qualification in Veterinary Laser Applications. You may also spot her at events alongside her Cocker Spaniel, Vinnie, who enthusiastically assists in demonstrations!
